The Initial Call and Meeting

From the moment we receive calls to our office, we begin considering the specific needs of their loved ones. On the initial call, one of our very flexible professionals will ask questions to form a basic needs assessment. Then we set up an in-home visit partner with the family to determine the best care that would meet the needs of your loved one. The visit allows us to gather even more information, answer questions, and let your loved one get a feel for how Better Life Home Care Health Services LLC could help the family.

The Customer Care Plan

With Better Life Home Care Health Services LLC, you will always know what care services are being provided to your client. After our initial meeting with your client, we will develop a Custom Care Plan. This plan is tailored to the person’s specific needs, and we make detailed recommendations on exactly what kind of services we feel would benefit them. We then arrange a follow-up meeting to go over the Custom Care Plan in detail and modify it as your loved one sees fit.

Caregiver Matching

Once your loved one has approved the Custom Care Plan, we begin our search for the best person to implement that care. Our proprietary system of matching caregivers to your loved one considers numerous factors: care services needed, participant’s interest, and the personalities of both the client and the caregiver.

We’re better able to provide your loved one with the best caregiver possible. And if there are any concerns about a specific caregiver, we can search for and provide a replacement in very little time.

Care Supervision

Our caregivers keep extensive progress notes about the care they give to the member. Those notes are kept at your member’s home and are available at any time, and our billing system provides a detailed description of care services provided, so your loved one never receives an invoice that doesn’t include a line item cost of care.

Our managers also make regular unannounced visits to the homes of our members to ensure caregivers are following the specifics of the Custom Care Plan.

Trained and Compassionate Caregivers

Our caregivers want more than a job. They want to make a difference in the lives of those they care for. As a company, our job is to give caregivers the direction and tools they need to fulfill their personal mission of service, as well as our corporate mission of improving the lives of those we serve.

Carefully Selected Individuals

To ensure that the people we employ meet our high standards, we have a rigorous selection process.

Before caregivers can become employed with Better Life Home Care Health Services LLC and begin caring for members, every one of them must go through:

  • Reference checks
  • Background clearance
  • Personal interviews
  • Competency testing

Training and Continuing Education

We screen and train all caregivers to ensure they can uphold our high standards for senior care services. In all cases, we will strive to give your loved one the finest possible match. Part of our proprietary training is our caregivers on a personal level. The reward of this is that it transforms the client relationship into one based on friendship and trust.

We care about your loved one and want them to remain engaged in their own care. As a participant, your loved one might help prepare a favorite meal. This simple pastime promotes sociability and communication, which can aid in the maintenance of mental skills. In addition, we insure, bond, and protect our carers in accordance with any worker’s compensation requirements. It’s only the beginning for a caregiver who satisfies our stringent screening requirements. Then, each caregiver goes through a thorough orientation process that instills our standards and procedures in them.

Our CERT (Caregiver Education Retention and Training) program provides ongoing, specialized training that ensures that our caregivers understand the high standards of care expected by Better Life Home Care Health Services LLC.
